There is a beautiful poem that I sometimes re-read, on days when I am feeling like I need to regroup:

“When we learn to accept change, we are no longer afraid of things turning out to be different. Instead, we find a way to move along with them, no matter what it takes. Instead of holding onto who we once were, we learn to welcome the person we are becoming. Instead of regretting what did not happen, we feel grateful for all the things that did happen, the strength we have found and how far we have come in the process. Instead of feeling bad for the hardships we have to face, we find joy and comfort in knowing that in our own time, we will grow and become a stronger version of ourselves. When we learn to accept change, we find a new sense of hope, a reason to try again.”
