Focus on the “I DID!”

We can’t change what happened yesterday or this past week.

There’s stuff you didn’t get done.

⛔️Maybe you didn’t get in that workout

⛔️Maybe you forgot to ask your partner how they were really doing and instead reminded them about their to do list for the house and family (I’m guilty of that 🤦🏻‍♀️)

⛔️Maybe you didn’t cross off the items on your own to-do list that you wanted to get done this week

But there’s so much you DID and accomplished. If you’re a working parent like me, I don’t have to tell you that making it through another week is 💪🏽.

Some days are hard. Some weeks, it seems like every day is challenging for different reasons. But you’re still here. Still trying. Still doing your best.

That’s always enough. Always.

And you’re learning how to better adjust.

How to not be so hard on yourself. How to let things go more 🙋🏻‍♀️

Keep learning, adjusting, and doing what you can.

Today is a new day🌞 and a chance to start fresh.

Let go of yesterday and focus on today.

We woke up after all, and that’s a blessing in itself. 🙏🏽
