Do you ever wonder what advice 10, 15 or more years ago you would’ve loved to know? Sometimes it takes going through the seasons of life to learn and grow in our own way. And sometimes a mentor or someone gives us guidance and advice they’ve come to understand from their own life that really resonates. Or they share mistakes they’ve made and you see yourself on a path to making the same mistake so you change direction. I’ve been in many conversations with women lately that has me thinking about how what I know now would’ve served me years ago (even though I believe experience can be your greatest teacher). It also has me thinking about how much that advice still applies today, as a reminder of who I want to be and how I want to feel about my life. In this week’s episode of the Humble Rising podcast, I share four pieces of advice I’d give to my younger self that still applies to me today. One of them is courage - having the courage to live a life that’s true for you, not the life others expect of you. Share them with me!
